Niki Butcher
Registered Manager, Oakdown House
Niki joined the Oakdown team in 2001 and is an integral part of the Oakdown family having previously fulfilled many roles including the Senior Care Coordinator position. Niki has been the Registered Manger since July 2019 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in Health and Social Care and has a Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Health and Social Care, she is currently the Moving and Handling Lead and the Medications Lead. Niki is passionate about delivering Oakdown’s visions and values and ensuring that the delivery of care at Oakdown is of a high standard and residents have a safe, happy home where they can live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Michael Derrick
Managing Director
Mike joined the company in 1997 after completing a Diploma in Nursing and having worked in the National Health Service for a number of years. He works closely with the management team providing supervision and support and ensuring the aims, ethos and objectives of the company are achieved, most importantly high standards of care and safety. Mike is responsible for strategic planning, finance and undertaking regular audits of the service provided. Mike is an executive director of the East Sussex and Brighton and Hove Registered Care Association, working with other specialist care providers on issues affecting the care sector.
Michelle Baird
Facilities Director
Michelle joined the company in 2008 and brings valuable business leadership and management experience from her career in the national media industry. Michelle oversees the management & maintenance of the company facilities & works closely with the Registered Managers & staff team to ensure the quality of our environment & equipment.
Charlotte Cialfi
Personnel Manager
Charlotte is a CIPD qualified Personnel Manager and has an ILM Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management. Charlotte manages the Training and Personnel Department and is responsible with her team for all aspects of staff recruitment and retention, their training and development. She has a deep commitment to work in a collaborative, transparent and inclusive manner, which allows her to build lasting relationships with staff, residents and peers.
